Norm Lighting?
Hey guys, I've been messing around with some flamboyant lighting for Norm. What do you think?
If you want to use this lighting for tomorrow, I can export the lights and put them on the server so you can import them into your scene.

Looks cool, Aaron :)
I think your drawing looks cool, but I would make a slight adjustment of the settlers placement.
It might make more sense if you move them down because it looks a little like the ground plane is slanting upward. Also, their camp placement is pretty close to Tonto. That's kinda picky though. I tested with this:
Otherwise, I think your layout would totally work for our painters. :)

Tonto Lighting & Color Options?
I also like the color in Bolt. It's a lot less saturated, but it gives a nice atmospheric feeling.
Can everyone find some examples of night/moon lighting too?? :-D That would be awesome!

Shot 01 lighting, I believe that the campfire is considerably farther away than this comp suggests.
Shot 02 lighting, the tree is modeled in, but the rocks (from scene 3), the campfire, and settlers need to be painted in.
Shot 03 lighting, consider the distance between the rocks and campfire according to the following scenes. It is not right up against the rocks.
Shot 04 lighting, consider the distance between Tanto and campfire according to the following scene.
Shot 05 lighting
Shot 06 lighting, trees and grass required in the background.

Norman?
Mina, Jake, and I sat down and modified my first guy a bit to create this new one. Now his hair doesn't move in an unexplainable way, HOORAY! We're all on board with this rig if everyone feels good about this one too. If anyone has any suggestions, let us/me know.
We changed his hair because it was moving all crazy. We realized that it makes him look a tad younger, but think it's alright? We figure he still has his youthful enthusiasm, and if he is too old he won't be capable of performing all our elaborate tricks? Also, this guy seems like he can be a little more goofy than the original guy I made.
