fire twirling alternative

I'm having a hell of a time trying to find a unicycle for my skit, so I think I might do an something else if I don't find a rig over the weekend. I had a look at some fire twirling videos as an alternative and I made a simple little fire baton in maya (below). I couldn't remember if anyone was doing something fire-related already, what do you guys think?
